Khamosh Nazar Aate Hain (Post Production)
A stammering theatre actor, Monu Kumar's NSD dreams are derailed when a botched improv exercise gets him blacklisted from Delhi's theatre circuit
As Monu realises that in the middle-class world, a degree holds more value than passion, he is caught between the responsibility of reviving his father's wedding band in Chandni Chowk and performing in a play before he turns 30, which is the NSD's age cutoff.
While Monu's brother Deepak runs the father's band as a pickpocketing crew, Monu struggles with his sense of morality. Deepak's choices clash with Monu's values, intensifying his insecurities about financial stability. Monu's pursuit of theatre pushes him toward disillusionment, while Deepak's questionable actions seem to bring the family a semblance of stability.
The film is an exploration of ambition, class divides, and the fragile line between passion and morality, capturing the realities of the Indian theatre world against the backdrop of Old Delhi's chaos.
